Pet Policy

 

        •       Prior approval is required 
        •       No more than 2 pets allowed in HOUSES
        •       No more than 1 pet allowed in APARTMENTS 
        •       Non-refundable $250 per pet fee

     NOTE: All pets are to remain in your yard when outside. Be sure to obey county and city leash laws.  Please be respectful of your neighbors and do not allow your pets to poop/pee in their yard.  Clean up the feces each time. Refusal to adhere to these rules will result in no longer being allowed to have a pet and possible eviction.

Ineligible pets are as follows:

  • Aggressive dogs noted in list below (list is may not include all breeds not allowed)
  • All animals with a bite or attack history
  • Exotic animals could include, but are not limited to: bears, bison, lions, tigers, and other big game cats as well as any hybrids.
  • Wild or non-domesticated animals capable of biting, or a dangerous reptile kept as a pet (examples include, but are not limited to: crocodiles, alligators, venomous spiders, venomous snakes, lizards, large lizards species, and large constricting snakes).
  • Animals not permitted as dictated by law or ordinance
  • Any dog that weighs or will weigh over 75 lbs. when fully grown

Most Common Ineligible Breeds

  • Pit Bull Breeds, including, but not limited to: American Pit Bull Terrior, American Staffordshire Terrior and Staffordshire Terrior
  • Dobermans
  • Rottweilers
  • Chow-Chows
  • Presa Canarios
  • Wolf Hybrids
  • Dogs that have been trained to attack persons, property or other animals: or dogs that have been trained to guards persons or property
  • Any dog, used in any manner, as a fighting dog or bred specifically for fighting
  • Any dog with prior history of: causing bodily injury to a person or attacking or biting another animal; established through insurance claims records, or through the records of local public safety, law enforcement or other similar regulatory agency.
